Walmart has joined with ampliFi Loyalty Solutions to offer customers Checkout With Points, a real-time redemption loyalty program that engages cardholders during a transaction.
Checkout With Points prompts cardholders at checkout with the option to redeem points for a discount on their Walmart purchase, according to a press release.
According to a recent survey conducted by ampliFI, 85% of cardholders choose their card based on the rewards they earn and 71% say they have shifted their spending based on how they can take advantage of points earned.
The news comes on the heels of the retailer redesigning its e-commerce homepage and app, providing a more customer-centric storefront.
